ABOUT ME

 

I am Idowu David Awoyemi, but I prefer to be called David. I am a current Ph.D. student in Instructional Technology within the Department of Educational Leadership, Policy, and Technology Studies at the University of Alabama. I obtained a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics Education and a master’s degree in Educational Technology from one of the premier universities in Nigeria, Africa. Due to my distinguished academic performance, I was recognized as an Outstanding Student during both my undergraduate and graduate studies.
As an effective instructor, I am passionate about continually seeking ways to make learning more meaningful and interesting for students through the integration of emerging technologies into teaching and learning. My research interests encompass instructional design, e-learning, digital game-based learning, and the application of artificial intelligence in education. Specifically, I am interested in exploring how emerging technologies can be applied to address challenges in teaching and learning. I have collaborated with professors on research projects and conference presentations, earning accolades for my insights and expertise. You can view my CV here
